Duke and Florida State began the week with identical 23-4 records, and bettors remain split on who will win next month's ACC Tournament.
The fifth-ranked Seminoles are receiving 53 percent of the bets at DraftKings to win tourney, but they are only receiving 16 percent of the total handle. That's compared to 42 percent for the Blue Devils, meaning the bigger money has been placed on Duke.
They are the overwhelming top two favorites, with Louisville garnering the third-most amount of best at 7 percent, followed by North Carolina at 3 percent. No other team has received more than 1 percent, although the Miami Hurricanes have been responsible for a sizeable 10 percent of the handle.
No other major conference is viewed as such a tight race by bettors.
Newly-minted No. 1 Kansas is receiving 48 percent of the bets in the Big 12, with bettors also putting significant money toward West Virginia (47 percent of the handle) and Baylor (17 percent of the handle), who dropped from No. 1 following a loss at Kansas on Saturday.
Villanova is the consensus top bet to win the Big East, receiving 54 percent of the bets and 34 percent of the handle.
The money is heavily skewed toward Oregon in the Pac-12, with the Ducks garnering 65 percent of the bets and 36 percent of the handle. The next closest is Arizona at 19 and 15 percent, respectively.
The story is similar in the Big 10, with Michigan State receiving 31 of the total bets and 30 percent of the handle. However, Maryland, Indiana and Ohio State are each in double-digits in both as well, indicating DraftKings bettors see more threats to the Spartans than is the case in most of the major conferences.
While Kansas is the NCAA Tournament betting favorite, Baylor is also -1000 to land a No. 1 seed. Those two are followed by Gonzaga (-500) and Dayton (125), with Duke and Florida State both being offered at 150.
