A recent analysis of Google Trends data shows that New York, Georgia, and Massachusetts are the top three states with the highest interest in personal branding.
The study, which examined search terms related to personal branding between January 1, 2022, and March 28, 2023, revealed that New York ranked first with a score of 100, a sign of peak interest in the subject, followed by Georgia at 94, and Massachusetts at 86.
Other states with significant interest in the topic include the District of Columbia (83), North Carolina (82), Indiana (82), and Arkansas (80).Rob Illidge, CEO of LinkedIn personal branding platform Vulse, commented on the findings: 'As the professional landscape evolves, we're seeing an increasing emphasis on personal branding.It's encouraging to see states like New York, Georgia, and Massachusetts leading the charge in recognizing the importance of personal branding for career development and success.'
The data also reveals varying levels of interest across the nation.
While some states show strong enthusiasm for personal branding, others such as New Hampshire, Maine, North Dakota, Hawaii, Vermont, South Dakota, Alaska, Montana, and Wyoming have not registered enough search activity in this category during the specified period.
This Google Trends analysis offers valuable insights into the regions where individuals are most actively seeking information on personal branding, indicating potential areas for growth and expansion in the industry.
