ENGLEWOOD, Colo.The Broncos have added 15 college free agents to their roster.
Denver signed Florida A&M cornerback Kendall Bohler, Kansas inside linebacker JB Brown, Kentucky tackle Marques Cox, North Carolina Central wide receiver Joaquin Davis, Tennessee-Martin nose tackle Christian Dowell, Arkansas State wide receiver Courtney Jackson, Oklahoma State guard Joe Michalski, Toledo wide receiver Jerjuan Newton, Duke cornerback Joshua Pickett, Utah inside linebacker Karene Reid, Oregon State cornerback Jaden Robinson, Georgia guard Xavier Truss, Missouri outside linebacker Johnny Walker Jr., Jacksonville State guard Clay Webb and Missouri defensive tackle Kristian Williams, the team announced.
Denver also released long snapper Zach Triner and punter Matt Haack in corresponding moves to remain at the mandated NFL roster limit.
Bohler recorded 33 tackles, four passes defensed, three tackles for loss and an interception in his final season for Florida A&M. He was twice named an All-SWAC performer during his career.
An All-Big 12 honorable mention in 2024, Brown recorded a career-high 74 tackles and five sacks as he started all 12 games as a senior. He also added 9.5 tackles for loss in his final season in Lawrence.
Cox finished his career at Kentucky after spending 2018-22 at Northern Illinois. The 6-foot-5, 305-pound player made 59 career starts in 61 career appearances, including 25 starts for Kentucky.
Davis caught 67 passes for 920 yards and 10 touchdowns over his final two seasons with NC Central. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound player was a second-team All-MEAC selection in 2024.
Dowell was a first-team Big-South-OVC selection and ranked as the top FCS nose tackle in 2024, according to Pro Football Focus. He notched 29 tackles, three tackles for loss and seven quarterback hits in his final season.
Jackson recorded 42 catches for 494 yards and two touchdowns and also added two punt-return touchdowns in his final year with Arkansas State. A year earlier, he was a Sun Belt Conference honorable mention with 39 catches for 689 yards and seven touchdowns.
A 6-foot-5, 305-pound player, Michalski was an honorable mention for All-Big 12 honors in 2024. A year earlier, he also was an honorable mention for the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year award.
The Rockets' all-time leader in touchdown receptions and a three-time All-MAC selection, Newton caught 72 passes for 1,048 yards in 2024. He caught multiple touchdowns in three games in his final season.
Pickett started 12 games in 2024 and notched 38 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, an interception, a forced fumble and seven pass breakups. The 6-foot, 188-pound player totaled more than 100 tackles in his career.
A two-time All-Pac-12 selection, Reid started 39 of the 43 games in which he appeared in his career. He recorded 54 tackles, six tackles for loss, three sacks, a fumble recovery and a pass breakup in his final year at Utah.
Robinson recorded 89 tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 11 passes defensed, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery in his career. The 6-foot, 193-pound player appeared in 41 games for Oregon State.
Truss started all 14 games in 2024 and was a second-team All-SEC selection the previous year. During that 2023 season, he started 13 games for an offensive line that ranked first in the SEC and seventh in the nation in fewest sacks allowed.
Walker was a 2024 second-team All-SEC selection after leading Missouri with 12.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. He ended 2024 with the longest streak in the country with at least a half-sack.
A 2024 first-team All-Conference USA selection, Webb started all 14 games at left guard for Jacksonville State. He was a second-team all-conference selection during the previous season.
A team captain, Williams started all 13 games in 2024 and notched 30 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, a pass defense, four quarterback pressures and a forced fumble for Missouri. Prior to his time in Columbia, he spent three years with the Oregon Ducks.
Triner and Haack were signed in recent weeks. The Broncos added a punter in Jeremy Crawshaw in the 2025 NFL Draft.
