Fifteen different players had hits as the United States national team obliterated the San Francisco Giants 15-1 in the first of two World Baseball Classic tune-up games Tuesday in Scottsdale, Ariz.

The American team, loaded with major league talent, racked up 19 hits. Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge and Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh each had a pair of hits and RBIs, while Alex Bregman and Roman Anthony homered. Pirates ace Paul Skenes struck out four over three one-run innings for the U.S.

Patrick Bailey doubled for the Giants and also provided the only RBI on a groundout. Willy Adames and Casey Schmitt also doubled.

The U.S. team plays one final warmup game Wednesday vs. Colorado before opening the WBC Friday vs. Brazil in Houston.

Blue Jays 10, Canada 7

Riley Tirotta belted a go-ahead three-run homer in the eighth inning to propel Toronto over Canada's national team in Dunedin, Fla.

Jesus Sanchez had two hits and drove in three runs, and Nathan Lukes added a two-run single as part of a five-run second inning for the Blue Jays.

Jacob Robson launched a solo homer as part of a four-run eighth inning for Canada, which completed a comeback from an early 7-0 deficit before Tirotta's blast put Toronto ahead.

Netherlands 8, Orioles 5

Ceddanne Rafaela cracked a three-run homer in the second inning and a two-run double in the third to pace the Netherlands past Baltimore in Sarasota, Fla.

Ray-Patrick Didder launched a solo homer in the first inning to highlight his three-hit, three-run performance. Ozzie Albies also went deep in the second inning for the Netherlands.

Pete Alonso continued his strong spring by belting a solo homer in the first inning and Jeremiah Jackson also went deep for the Orioles.

Yankees 11, Panama 1 (8)

J.C. Escarra hit a two-run homer to right-center field in the fifth inning to lift New York to a rout of Panama in Tampa, Fla.

Ryan McMahon had a two-run single in the first inning, Kenedy Corona had two hits and two runs and Escarra added a sacrifice fly to pace the Yankees.

Ruben Tejada had an RBI groundout in the eighth inning for Panama.

Mets 6, Nicaragua 3

Vidal Brujan ripped a two-run single in the sixth inning to fuel New York to victory in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Chris Suero added a solo homer in the eighth inning for the Mets, who saw newcomer Bo Bichette open the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the first.

Freddy Zamora and Brandon Leyton each launched a solo homer for Nicaragua. Zamora added a second RBI on a sac fly.

Pirates 7, Colombia 1

Jake Mangum drove in a pair of runs on two hits to pace Pittsburgh to victory in Bradenton, Fla.

Konnor Griffin and Jhostynxon Garcia each ripped an RBI double for the Pirates, who pounded out 11 hits.

Jesus Castillo had an RBI double in the ninth inning for Colombia to break up the shutout bid.

Israel 1, Marlins 0

Garrett Stubbs hit an RBI triple to plate Cole Carrigg in the fourth inning to lead Israel over Miami in Jupiter, Fla.

Carrigg joined Benjamin Rosengard with a hit and Robert Stock struck out three batters over three scoreless innings for Israel.

The Marlins mustered just four hits but committed two costly errors.

Rays (ss) 5, Twins 2

Chandler Simpson had an RBI single to ignite a five-run first inning, fueling a split-squad Tampa Bay team past Minnesota in Fort Myers, Fla.

Logan Davidson, Jacob Melton and Xavier Isaac each had an RBI single during the inning for the Rays, who finished with eight hits.

Royce Lewis plated Brooks Lee on a pair of sacrifice flies for the Twins.

Rays (ss) 3, Phillies 1

Ryan Vilade collected two hits and scored one run as Tampa Bay defeated Philadelphia in Port Charlotte, Fla.

Vilade scored on Taylor Walls' RBI single in the second inning for the Rays, who scored a run in each of the first three innings.

Jose Rodriguez had an RBI single in the fifth inning for the Phillies, who fell to 3-7-1 in spring training.

Mexico 6, Diamondbacks 3

Rowdy Tellez homered and hit an RBI single to lead the Mexican national team to a victory over Arizona in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Alejandro Osuna also homered and Nick Gonzales delivered a two-run double for Mexico, which got 2 1/3 scoreless innings from Philadelphia's Taijuan Walker on the mound.

Jordan Lawlar had two hits including an RBI triple for the Diamondbacks, who got two scoreless innings in Zac Gallen's start before Juan Morillo was tagged for four runs in one relief inning.

Royals 4, Cuba 0

Michael Massey homered to lead an early surge as Kansas City blanked Cuba in Surprise, Ariz.

Massey opened the scoring with a first-inning homer, sparking a 3-0 lead through two innings. The Royals got three no-hit innings from Ryan Bergert, who struck out four.

Leadoff hitter Roel Santos had two hits for Cuba, which had six hits but was held 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position. Starting pitcher Denny Larrondo was hit hard, allowing three runs on five hits over two innings.

Great Britain 7, Brewers 3

Harry Ford homered as part of a three-hit performance as the British squad opened its WBC warmup with a defeat of Milwaukee in Phoenix.

BJ Murray also had three hits, including a double, and DL Hall allowed one unearned run over three innings on the mound for Great Britain.

The Brewers scored two of their three runs on homers from David Hamilton and Akil Baddoo. Fireballing youngster Jacob Misiorowski struck out five over two innings in his start but allowed one run on two hits.

Italy 9, Cubs 4

Owen Ayers, Kyle Teel and Thomas Saggese homered to spark Italy's comeback over Chicago in Mesa, Ariz.

The Italian squad scored nine runs over the final four innings after falling behind 4-0. Ayers, playing against his own organization, had a pair of hits and a pair of RBIs as a mid-game replacement.

Cade Horton struck out three in three scoreless innings, but the Cubs committed three errors, including a costly one in the sixth which set the stage for a game-tying four unearned runs.

Athletics 14, Brazil 4 (7)

Jeff McNeil and Austin Wynns delivered back-to-back homers to set the stage for a seven-run first inning in the Athletics' runaway seven-inning defeat of the Brazilian national team in Mesa, Ariz.

Jacob Wilson added a sac fly, an RBI groundout and a single, one of nine Athletics players with exactly one hit apiece. Ryan Lasko added a three-run triple in the third inning to extend the lead to 10-1.

Brazil had nearly as many hits as the Athletics (9-8) but was 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position. Osvaldo Carvalho had a team-high two hits, including a double, and Gabriel Gomes had a two-run triple.

Dodgers 5, Guardians 4

Miguel Rojas had two hits with a two-run homer to help Los Angeles claw back from an early deficit to beat Cleveland in Goodyear, Ariz.

Zach Ehrhard delivered a game-tying two-run triple and Ryan Ward's RBI single later that inning proved to be the game-winning hit. That helped the Dodgers overcome a rough start from Roki Sasaki, who was tagged for four runs in the first inning and pulled without recording an out before following with two scoreless innings.

Kyle Manzardo staked the Guardians to a 4-0 lead after his first-inning grand slam, his first spring homer and just his second hit in 18 at-bats.

Padres 4, White Sox 3

Nick Castellanos hit his unofficial first homer with San Diego to lead the way in a win over Chicago in Phoenix.

Castellanos, who signed with San Diego Feb. 14 after he was released by Philadelphia, added a double to go with his two-run shot. Padres starter Nick Pivetta was tagged for two runs on six hits over three innings.

The White Sox got two hits and a homer from Miguel Vargas, but they stranded eight runners on base. Sean Newcomb allowed two runs on five hits over three innings in his start for Chicago.

Angels 7, Mariners 6

Yolmer Sanchez doubled home two and Donovan Walton added an RBI single in a three-run ninth that boosted Los Angeles past Seattle in Peoria, Ariz.

Jeimer Candelario added his first spring homer, a two-run shot, for the Angels, who also got doubles from Chris Taylor and Raudi Rodriguez.

Patrick Wisdom homered in the second inning and added a two-run single for the Mariners, with Rhylan Thomas also hitting his second spring homer in the second. Bryan Woo struck out four but allowed two runs on two hits over 2 1/3 innings in his second spring start.
